Chiefs should be a trade partner for line-needy Dolphins

According to reports, Dolphins players are panicking about the state of their interior line.

According to the Chiefs’ current roster, Kansas City might be able to help out — for the right price.

Chiefs blog Arrowhead Pride suggests the Dolphins and Chiefs could iron out a trade that could benefit both teams. The Chiefs could sort out a logjam at guard, where they just added Mitch Morse to a group that includes Jeff Allen, Zach Fulton, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, and more. Meanwhile, the Dolphins could protect Ryan Tannehill, the quarterback they just handed a fat new contract to.

There’s no such thing as too much depth in today’s NFL. But dealing for a position of strength might help Kansas City fill current roster holes.

There’s some reason to believe Miami could come calling. After all, they were plenty interested in poaching former Chief Branden Albert when he hit the free agent market a few years back.
