Chargers star Melvin Gordon carted off field in first quarter

San Diego Chargers running back Melvin Gordon, who entered Sunday's game against the Panthers fourth in the league in rushing yards, was carted off the field in the first quarter. The Chargers have listed him as questionable to return.

Gordon was hit from behind as he tried to dive on a fumbled ball. He left the game just 3 yards shy of 1,000 for the season.
