Is a hot dog a sandwich? The Bills' locker room is torn

When it comes to naming iconic American foods, hot dogs immediately come to mind. They're a staple for all tailgates and are consumed at a very high rate on Coney Island for the Fourth of July. But it seems as though there's a great debate going on regarding hot dogs: Are they sandwiches?

Twitter has been buzzing with this question after Atlanta Falcons reporter Andrew Hirsh tweeted that Matt Ryan doesn't consider a hot dog to be a sandwich. Ever since then, the Internet has been searching for the answer.

The question made its way to the Buffalo Bills' locker room, and players are torn. Joe Buscaglia of WKBW asked a handful of players, including safety Bacarri Rambo, who used to eat hot dogs cold, "straight out of the freezer."

After asking five players, it appears as though the Bills' locker room is split on the idea. Leodis McKelvin, Seantrel Henderson, and Boobie Dixon believe hot dogs are sandwiches, while Jordan Gay and Bacarri Rambo do not.

Tyrod Taylor was also asked the pressing question, to which he gave a very interesting, thoughtful answer.

Will the debate ever be settled? There may not be a right answer no matter how many people are asked.
