An arrest warrant has been issued for Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon after he failed to appear at an August 31 hearing in a paternity case. The complaint was originally filed on July 2015.

According to court records (via Cleveland.com), several subpoenas were sent to multiple addresses in Cleveland and Los Angeles, but Brown did not respond. Gordon also failed to provide a DNA sample to the court, after being ordered to do so by September 25, 2015.

Gordon, 25, missed all of the 2015 season after being suspended for multiple violations of the league's substance abuse policy. He was reinstated this summer, and is eligible to return Oct. 9 against the Patriots after serving a four-game suspension to begin the season. Gordon led the league with 1,646 receiving yards in 2013.
