Patrick Peterson: 'It should be a defensive MVP type season for me'
It's no secret Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson had an up-and-down 2014.
Despite his inconsistencies, he still was nominated to his fourth straight Pro Bowl.
It was later revealed Peterson was diagnosed with diabetes, but now, he maintains it is under control heading.
Now feeling more healthy, the LSU standout believes 2015 could be a big year.
"Expectations are always very high for me now that I feel my mind is completely free," Peterson said, via the team website. "Just ready to go out and play football, just ready to put 2014 behind me. I feel if everything comes together I'm hoping it will, it should be a defensive MVP-type season for me. If I play the way I'm capable of, it should be that type of season."
