Andre Ellington says drafting a RB a good thing for Cardinals

When the Arizona Cardinals drafted running back David Johnson in the third round of the draft, the attention turned to Andre Ellington and how he would react to having another running back on the roster.

Ellington seems to think it is a good thing for him and the Cardinals. When asked by the Arizona Republic if he thinks the addition of Johnson would help him, he had this to say.

"I don't see why not, it allows me to have more rest time, and it should keep the offense upbeat."

Ellington went on to say that he is finally getting healthy after battling injuries throughout the 2014 season.

"It's like night and day," he said. "During the season I was limited on some cuts going to the right, pushing off my left foot.

"I'm close to doing a lot of things I've done in the past. Just (last week) I was able to do all my cuts and put a lot more pressure on my foot."

If the Cardinals can keep Ellington healthy for the whole season, it would surely be a big boost to their offense.
