49ers Pro Bowl LB NaVorro Bowman reportedly to have MRI on possible Achilles tear

The San Francisco 49ers might have lost much more than just a game Sunday. Pro Bowl linebacker NaVorro Bowman is scheduled to have an MRI on Monday, and the initial fear is that he suffered a torn Achilles, NFL.com reported Sunday.

Bowman was carted to the locker room in the second half of the 49ers' 24-17 loss to the Cowboys. The three-time Pro Bowl linebacker missed the entire 2014 season after suffering a devastating knee injury in the NFC title game.

Bowman bounced back from the injury and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2015 after recording 116 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks.
