Impact Olsen spent his final season with the Seahawks and recorded a 24-239-1 line over 11 games. The 35-year-old spent 14 seasons in the league with stops in Chicago, Carolina and Seattle, en route to catching 742 passes for 8,683 yards and 60 touchdowns. He earned three trips to the Pro Bowl as well. Looking ahead, Olsen plans to join Fox as an analyst in the broadcast booth.

No targets in wild-card loss Olsen wasn't targeted in Saturday's 30-20 wild-card loss to the Rams.

Impact Olsen clearly wasn't back to 100 percent after returning from a plantar fascia tear in his left foot. The veteran tight end logged just eight snaps on offense and wasn't involved in the passing game. Olsen finished the regular season with a 24-239-1 line through 11 games. This may have been Olsen's last time on the field before he heads to the broadcast booth.

Impact Olsen missed last week's win against the 49ers, and coach Pete Carroll attributed his absence to a "flare up" of the plantar fascia tear in his left foot. However, the 35-year-old tight end is ready to battle through the injury as he makes possibly his last run at a Super Bowl. Olsen logged just 12 snaps in the only game he has played since suffering the injury in Week 11. He may face a similar pitch count in Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Rams, in which case Jacob Hollister and Will Dissly will take on larger roles.

Impact Olsen returned last week from a brief stint on injured reserve, playing 12 snaps in the Seahawks' win over the Rams and finishing with a 15-yard reception on two targets. While head coach Pete Carroll suggested that Olsen didn't aggravate the plantar fascia tear in his left foot against the Rams, the tight end did experience what Carroll termed as a "flare up." Rather than having Olsen push through the injury with little at stake in the regular-season finale, the veteran will be given the week off with the hope that he's closer to 100 percent for the playoffs. Look for Will Dissly and Jacob Hollister to handle most of the snaps at tight end Week 17.
