Adam Jones rips unruly Blue Jays fans after ugly incident in AL Wild Card Game

The AL Wild Card Game had a little bit of everything on Tuesday, including an unfortunate incident in the bottom of the seventh inning.

As Orioles left fielder Hyun Soo Kim camped under a Melvin Upton Jr. flyball, a fan at Rogers Centre threw a beer can onto the field and narrowly missed Kim.

Orioles players and manager Buck Showalter were understandably furious, with center fielder Adam Jones among the most outraged. He sounded off after the Jays’ 11-inning win that sent them to the ALDS and sent the Orioles packing for the offseason. From The Baltimore Sun:

There also were allegations that fans hurled racial and ethnic slurs at Orioles players, though Kim stopped short of confirming that afterward.
