Georgia Southern jars Florida without completing a pass

Georgia Southern went down to The Swamp and defeated Florida.
The Eagles defeated the Gators, 26-20, despite not completing a pass.
Georgia Southern won in spite of two missed extra points.
The Eagles received a $550,000 paycheck for their FCS visit to an FBS team.
Florida was 15-0 against FCS opponents; Georgia Southern was 0-20 against FBS foes.

Georgia Southern, wasn't even a strong Southern Conference team. The Eagles came into their season finale 7-4 with losses to Appalachian State, which is 3-8 and not the team that beat Michigan, Wofford, Samford and Furman.
The Eagles gashed the Gators for 429 yards. They even had two turnovers and Florida still couldn't down an FCS team.
The Shaw family has had a great seven days against the Gators; On Nov. 16, Connor Shaw led the Gamecocks to a 19-14 win over Florida; on Saturday, his brother, Jaybo, enjoyed the upset as a graduate assistant for Georgia Southern.
