UFC Fight Night: Lamas vs. Penn to be rescheduled

The UFC has decided to reschedule its UFC Fight Night event in the Philippines after losing half of the scheduled main event. The promotion made the announcement on Thursday, just two days after BJ Penn withdrew from the event due to a rib injury.

According to the announcement from the UFC, all of the fighters slated to participate on the Oct. 15 card will be rebooked at upcoming UFC events and will also receive compensation due to the event being postponed.

With UFC Fight Night: Lamas vs. Penn off the schedule for now, UFC 204 this weekend in Manchester, England will be the final card of the month before the UFC schedule heats up again in November.
