Rumor: Barcelona to Manchester United. Likelihood: Maybe the summer. The Talk: French publication Le 10 Sport claims that Manchester United are ready to trigger Neymar’s release clause at Barcelona. The Red Devils are thought to be ready to pay £140million ($205million) to bring him to Old Trafford after talks over a new contract at Barcelona broke down. It isn’t the first time the Brazilian has been linked with a move to Manchester and, with two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal, his future remains uncertain. It would be surprising if a transfer of this magnitude happens in a January window.

Rumor: Celta Vigo to Arsenal or Barcelona. Likelihood: Yes. The Talk: According to reports, Arsenal may still have a chance of beating Barcelona to the signing of Celta Vigo forward Nolito. The Spanish international is said to favor a move to Barca, but the Catalan giants aren’t keen on meeting the required fee. In 15 La Liga appearances this season he has scored eight goals and contributed five assists. Arsenal sit on top of the Premier League after 20 games and will be looking to add goals to their attack. Nolito could be just the player, with a rumored price tag of £13.2million ($19.3million).

Rumor: Chelsea to AC Milan. Likelihood: Why not. The Talk: AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in January. Ivanovic only has six months left on his contract at Stamford Bridge and may be looking for a new club in the summer. However, Milan are thought to be keen on bringing him to the San Siro over the next month. The Serbian -- who could leave on a free transfer in the summer -- has been one of Premier League’s best defenders over the past few years and can play in several different positions. It is unlikely he will be kept on after the summer, so the Blues may do business if there is a ready-made replacement.
Rumor: Dortmund to Arsenal. Likelihood: For the right price. The Talk: According to The Sun, Arsenal are preparing a £42million ($61.6million) move for Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabon international has been in incredible form in the Bundesliga so far this season, scoring 24 goals in 23 appearances. A source told The Sun: "An intermediary has made contact with Dortmund about Pierre-Emerick making a move to Arsenal. Wenger knows the fee is very high — yet this is a striker who can make a massive difference for him and help win the title for the first time in 12 years." Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are also thought to be interested, but the Gunners are believed to be the club with cash to spend this window.
Rumor: Juventus to Chelsea. Likelihood: Not yet. The Talk: Chelsea are ready to make a world-record bid for Juventus star Paul Pogba, according to Fichajes.net. The Frenchman has been linked with numerous other clubs in the past -- including Real Madrid and Barcelona -- but the Blues could be set to make a big statement with a £64million ($94million) offer. Chelsea have had a poor season, despite their 3-0 victory away at Crystal Palace last Saturday, and Pogba could be a perfect replacement for some of their underperforming stars -- just maybe not yet.
Rumor: Real Madrid to Manchester City. Likelihood: Makes sense. The Talk: The Daily Mirror has reported that Real Madrid midfielder Isco is open to a move to Manchester City and would welcome a reunion with Manuel Pellegrini. The Spanish international is unhappy at the Bernabeu and his representatives have reportedly proposed a loan move until the end of the season, with a potential £25million ($36.7million) summer transfer. With his lack of gametime at Real, Isco is worried he may not make the Spain squad for Euro 2016. Despite Pellegrini insisting City won’t be making big moves in the window, this rumor could have legs.
Rumor: Real Madrid to Manchester United. Likelihood: Unlikely. The Talk: According to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Real Madrid could consider selling James Rodriguez to Manchester United. With Rodriguez recently being accused of speeding and Karim Benzema’s links to the Mathieu Valbuena blackmail sex-tape scandal, Real are rumored to be concerned about their public image. The Colombian has only played eight times so far this season under Rafa Benitez, but still has five years remaining on his contract. Considering Real paid £63million for him in 2014, it would take a huge sum of money to prise him from the Bernabeu.
Helios de la Rubia
Rumor: Southampton to Manchester United. Likelihood: In the summer. The Talk: The Sun has reported that Manchester United are keen to tie up a deal for Southampton forward Sadio Mane. The Sun believes the deal could cost the Red Devils £62.5million ($91.8million) -- £30million in transfer fees and another £32.5million in wages. Mane was dropped for Southampton’s recent defeat to Norwich for turning up late to a pre-match meeting. Despite this, the Saints are thought to be keen on extending Mane’s contract.
Rumor: Stoke City to PSG. Likelihood: No chance. The Talk: According to the Sunday People, Paris Saint-Germain are after Stoke City star Marko Arnautovic in the winter transfer window. The Austrian has been in impressive form so far this season and is drawing admiring glances from PSG -- who have apparently been monitoring him for two years. The French giants are set to offer a £7.5million+ ($11 million+) deal to try and land the 26-year-old. He has formed part of an impressive attacking trio with Bojan and Xherdan Shaqiri this term, and Stoke would no doubt want him to stick around.
Rumor: Watford to Atletico Madrid. Likelihood: It’s a no from us. The Talk: The Daily Mirror believe that Hornets striker Odion Ighalo is catching the eye of La Liga giants Atletico Madrid and after notching 14 goals in his debut Premier League season the 26-year-old is being linked with a £12million ($17.6million) move to the Spanish capital. Atletico are said to be in the market for a new striker having seen summer signing Jackson Martinez' stock rapidly drop after a torrid six months at the Vicente Calderon and Ighalo could well be his replacement. However, it isn't entirely likely with Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores insisting there will be no departures from Vicarage Road this month.
