MLB insider Jon Paul Morosi provides insight and information into the biggest stories in baseball as an on-air reporter for FOX Sports and FS1. He is a reporter and analyst for FS1’s MLB WhipAround and appears regularly on MLB Network’s MLB Central and Hot Stove.
IN THE BEGINNING
Morosi broke into baseball as a backup beat writer for the Seattle Post Intelligencer covering the Seattle Mariners in 2005. He then served as a Detroit Tigers beat writer for the Detroit Free Press from 2006-’09 before being hired full time by FOXSports.com to cover all 30 teams. Morosi cut his teeth on-air as a regular contributor to FOX Sports Detroit’s baseball coverage in 2010.
ON THE ROAD
In December 2014, Morosi joined Sirius/XM MLB Network Radio as a part-time host. Morosi also is a regular contributor to FOX Sports Radio and Sportsnet Radio THE FAN 590 in Toronto.
IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL
In his first experience as a dugout reporter in 2014, Morosi covered the longest postseason game ever, an 18-inning battle between Washington and San Francisco which saw the visiting Giants defeat the Nationals 2-1 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.
