Russell Westbrook says he still hasn't talked to Kevin Durant since he joined the Warriors

The biggest story of the NBA offseason was Kevin Durant leaving the Thunder in free agency to sign with a Warriors team that blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. The decision came as a shock to many, including Durant's OKC teammates.

Russell Westbrook had been a teammate of Durant's for all eight of his NBA seasons, but the five-time All-Star said Friday that he still hasn't spoken to Durant since he made the decision to play for Golden State.

Westbrook's comments came in response to a question about Durant's appearance on HBO's "Any Given Wednesday" earlier this week, in which the former MVP detailed his view of their relationship.

There were times when those outside the team believed that tensions existed between the two players. The fact that they haven't spoken since Durant left will only confirm those suspicions.
