LeBron James has a funny idea to improve the Cavs' championship ring night
Cleveland suddenly has become the city of champions. Fifty-two years after its previous professional title, the city will celebrate the Cavaliers’ latest title Tuesday, when the players will get their rings and the championship banner will be raised to the rafters.
But if that’s not enough, Clevelanders also will get to see the Indians host Game 1 of the World Series on the same night. It’s a fan’s dream scenario, but LeBron James offered an idea to improve the festivities.
“Maybe having an ice cream truck outside both arenas at the same time as well,” James said (watch the video above for LeBron’s full quotes). “That would add the icing on the cake.”
We’re pretty sure that if James makes this an official request, there will be no shortage of ice cream trucks ready to oblige the King.
