Update: Behind the Undertaker's surprise appearance at the Cavaliers' home opener

Editor's note: This story has been updated with FOX Sports reporting from WWE sources and to reflect that the Undertaker was a guest of the Cleveland Cavaliers. This story also removed earlier reporting from Cleveland.com.

WWE legend The Undertaker caused quite a stir when he made a surprise appearance in Cleveland during the Cavaliers' season opener.

According to sources close to the WWE, Undertaker was a guest of the Cavaliers and his travel expenses were covered by the team.

Many of the Cavaliers are huge wrestling fans. LeBron James rocked Undertaker and Ultimate Warrior t-shirts during and after the NBA Finals last summer, and Kyrie Irving has his own "Ankletaker" logo.

Taker appeared in full costume (and it appears in full character), and caused an immediate social media firestorm.

Kevin Love and several other Cavs took pictures with the WWE star, and Love got a championship belt to go with his championship ring.
