76ers fans shower Joel Embiid with 'MVP' and 'Trust the Process' chants
The long, teasing "process" has been trusted by Philadelphia 76ers fans for nearly four-plus years, and the long-awaited return on their emotional investment finally has been delivered — at least when it comes to phenom center Joel Embiid.
During the 76ers' 103-97 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night, Embiid showcased his arsenal of slick offensive moves, dropping 20 points and grabbing seven rebounds in only 22 minutes, including the first points of his career on a sweet move:
76ers fans were so excited about Embiid's performance, they showered him with "M-V-P" chants:
and even "TRUST-THE-PRO-CESS!"
Ready or not: The Joel "The Process" Embiid era finally has started, and professional basketball is back in Philadelphia.
