There are 41 drivers entered in Sunday night’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway (5:30 p.m. ET, FOX), one of the crown jewels of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series schedule.

Fifth in points, McMurray is having a great season so far, as is his Chip Ganassi Racing teammate Kyle Larson. McMurray’s first career Cup victory came here in October 2002, in only his second career start.
The Cup points leader won the first two stages of the All-Star Race and he figures to be one of the favorites again on Sunday.

On the preliminary NASCAR entry list, Almirola is still listed as the driver of the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports Ford. In reality, Almirola will miss 8-12 weeks with a broken back and RPM will announce his replacement later this week.
This has been a season of struggle for Allmendinger, who is 30th in points after 11 races. He has a best finish of fifth at Charlotte.
They call Charlotte Motor Speedway “The House that Jimmie Built” and with good reason: Johnson leads active drivers with eight victories, 15 top-five finishes and 1,895 laps led here.
Already, Hill has started four Cup races at Charlotte, where he has posted a best finish of 27th.
One of the sport’s true veterans, Cope has made 28 Cup points-race starts at Charlotte, earning a best points finish of sixth in 1989.
Back after a lengthy suspension, Long is entered in the Coca-Cola 600 after running in the Monster Energy Open.
