You never know where NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers will turn up during some rare down time. For instance, Danica Patrick visited an all-girls school in 2015 to offer some inspiration. Check out these 10 things you can count on happening while they're off this coming weekend.

Danica will be doing something athletic ... somewhere
We don't know if she'll be throwing out a ceremonial pitch at Wrigley Field again like she did in 2012, but we do know Danica Patrick will be doing something athletic during the week off ... somewhere. It might be yoga, it might be hiking in the woods with her dogs or her boyfriend, fellow Sprint Cup driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. But Danica will stay busy with something fun and creative, and likely will keep her fans up to date on whatever she's up to via social media.

Matt Kenseth will get caught up on his Packers
Matt Kenseth (left), posing here with Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy prior to the 2007 Daytona 500, obviously goes way back with his favorite NFL team. The Packers play their first 2016 preseason game this Friday, hosting the Cleveland Browns at Lambeau Field, and will play their second preseason game, also at home, next Thursday against the Raiders. If Kenseth isn't at one or both of those games in person, you can bet he'll be tuned in to them on television.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be laying low
Dale Earnhardt Jr. isn't likely to do a whole lot except maybe spend some nice, quiet down time with his fiance, Amy Reimann, as the driver continues to recover from concussion-like symptoms that have caused him to miss the last four Sprint Cup races.

Denny Hamlin will be golfing (if his back allows it)
This might be a long shot because of the back pain and spasms that nearly kept him out of his No. 11 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota last Sunday at Watkins Glen (where he went on to win), but Denny Hamlin no doubt will find a golf course or two to play somewhere if the back problems clear up quickly enough. He loves the game.

Derrike Cope will be chilling
Or grilling. Or maybe cooking some meat in a smoker. But if he does any of these leisurely cooking activities, you can bet he'll steer clear of the smoke after his XFINITY Series car literally went up in a cloud of the black stuff last Saturday at Watkins Glen.

Kevin Harvick will be chasing Keelan
Harvick and his son, Keelan, will be having fun somewhere. But you'd better believe son will keep dad from sitting still for too long.

The first family will rock
Hey, until someone dethrones defending Sprint Cup champion Kyle Busch, he's stll the boss and his family, including wife Samantha and son Brexton, remain the reigning first family of NASCAR. You know Samantha's got something fun planned for the family during the rare weekend off.

Jeff Gordon will go big
Whether he's in New York City or the south of France, don't expect Jeff Gordon to sit still. Heck, he's the busiest retired man we know these days. And yes, now that he's been subbing for Earnhardt Jr. as driver of the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, he might need to use this time to rest -- but his family, including wife Ingrid Vandebosch and children Ella and Leo, likely will have other plans to keep him busy.

Tony Stewart wil play in the dirt
Odds are Tony Stewart will be at Eldora Speedway, the dirt track he owns in Rossburg, Ohio, or at some other dirt-track venue -- either helping get the surface ready, racing or just watching others make circles in the mud. He loves it that much and just can't stay away.

Jimmie Johnson will train
Leave the leisurely stuff to others. Six-time NASCAR Premier Series champion Jimmie Johnson no doubt will use this time off to run a triathalon, or bike a couple hundred miles, or swim across a lake. After all, why should this week be any different from any others for the fitness buff?
