Onboard camera shows how scary an open-wheel flip can be

Parker Locke braces for impact after hitting the back of Chris Archinaco's car. (Video below)

Parker Locke went for a scary ride at the Homestead-Miami Speedway during an F4 US Championship race earlier this year.

The incident takes place at 8:00 in the following video:

The driver of the No. 6 JHMDD Honda was caught off-guard when Chris Archinaco in the No. 35 broke earlier than he expected. Locke ran into him from behind and the two made wheel-to-wheel contact, resulting in Locke’s car turning over and then being dragged upside-down through the grass before rolling several times.

While Locke was OK, his car had suffered too much damage and he was done for the weekend.
