A Reds outfielder hilariously misjudged Ichiro's triple

Outfielder Tyler Holt did his best to cut down an Ichiro hit during the ninth inning of Tuesday's Marlins-Reds game, but all he did was end up on the blooper reel.

After Ichiro smacked a base hit into right field, Holt attempted a slide to pick up the rolling baseball. Though the effort was there, Holt ended up misjudging and sliding past the ball, leading to a silly looking play that ultimately resulted in the Miami outfielder getting to third base.

Luckily for Holt, his late-game error didn't come back to haunt his team, as Ichiro would be left stranded and the Reds would go on to win 6-3.
