What happened to Fantasy Auto?
You've probably noticed that a lot has changed from last season. Gone is the "Team Captain" and total starts per driver restriction from the roster building process. In its place is a new salary based system. This new roster selection process lets you pick any driver each race of the season.

We've also updated our live scoring experience. FantasyTrax will allow you to follow your fantasy racing team like never before. Keep up with race results and standings LIVE! Best of all FOX Fantasy Auto now works on any device!

How do I find my group from last season?
If you were in a group from last season and would like to continue playing with your former group members, you can do so from the Manage Groups page. Group Owners will have the option to reactivate any groups from last season. Group Members can send a reminder to the Group Owner to reactivate the group.

How many teams can I have?
You may only have one team per contest. The team may be shared across up to four different groups.
How do I view another user's team?
You may view another user's team by clicking a team name within any leaderboard.
How do I view another team's roster?
To view another team's roster, click a team's point total. This can be done via the Weekly Leaderboard, Group Scorecard and FantasyTrax.
How do I change the name of my team?
Click the Edit Settings menu item from your Team Home page. You can change your team name on Team Settings page.
How do I change my email preferences for the game?
Click the Edit Settings menu item from your Team Home page. You can change your email preferences on Team Settings page.

STANDINGS

Where do I view standings?
You may view overall, weekly, and segment standings by clicking the Leaders menu item. To view individual group standings, click the Leaders menu item from your Group Home page
How do I view who has the most points?
You can view who has the most points on the overall leaderboard. You can also check the points leader by segment and race.
How are points evaluated?
To see a full breakdown visit the Team Home page and click on the Scoring Help link in the top right corner of the Roster.

ROSTER

Will any unspent salary carry over to the next race?
No, any salary remaining for the race will not carry over to the next race.
When can I set my roster for the next race?
Rosters will unlock for the next race the morning after the most recent race concludes.
When can I pick my team?
You can pick the drivers for your team any time after the previous race finishes up until 5 minutes before the race. You can change your picks as many times as you would like within this time.
When are driver picks for my team locked?
Rosters are locked 5 minutes before the race starts.
What time zone are all the games listed in?
All times are listed as Eastern Standard Time.
If a driver I chose does not race, what happens?
The driver is not awarded any points.
How many times can I use a driver?
There is no limit to the number of times a driver may be selected.
How does the salary cap work?
Drivers are given a salary based on current and previous season & track performance. The combined total of the 5 selected drivers that make up your team may not exceed the weekly salary cap.
How do you I enter a different roster for each of my groups?
Each entry is only permitted to submit a single roster for each race. This roster will be used across all groups of which the entry is a member.
How do I add a driver to my team roster?
From the Edit Team page click the "+" button to add the desired driver to your roster.
How can I find a specific driver to put on my team roster?
From the Edit Team page you can search for a driver by name.
Hey, this driver did terrible last race! Why does he cost more now?
Salaries take more into account than one race, including the driver's past performance at a track.
Does the salary cap change from week to week?
No, the salary cap will remain the same from week to week. Driver salaries will fluctuate based on performance.
Does my roster carry over from one week to the next?
No, you must set your roster prior to each race.
Can I set my team roster for a future race?
No, only for the current race.
Can I change my team roster?
As long as the start time of the race is more than 5 minutes away, you may edit your roster.

INVITATIONS

How can I invite others to join my group?
Click the Invite Friends link from your Group Home page. From here you can invite friends through email, Facebook and Twitter.

GROUPS

What's the difference between a public group and a private group?
Public groups do not contain a password and can be joined by anyone (unless the owner has locked the group). Private groups require a password to restrict access.
What does Track Fees mean? I thought the game was free?!
FOX Fantasy Auto is 100% free to play. This is just an option given to assist group owners who wish to impose their own fees for their group.
What are the official team groups?
There is an official "Fans of" public group for all drivers. These groups are intended for fans of that driver.
How many groups may I join or create?
A participant may be involved in no more than four groups.
How do I restrict a member from posting a message in my group?
If you are the owner of a group, click the "Edit Members" link under the "Tools" tab on your Group Home page. From here you may control message board posting rights.
How do I restrict a member from inviting others to join my group?
If you are the owner of a group, click the "Edit Members" link under the "Tools" tab on your Group Home page. From here you may control invitation rights.
How do I restrict a member from emailing the group?
If you are the owner of a group, click the "Edit Members" link under the "Tools" tab on your Group Home page. From here you may control email-to-the-group rights
How do I remove myself from a group?
If you’d like to remove yourself from a group, you may do so by clicking the "Leave Group" button on the Manage Groups page. If you are the owner of the group you must delete the group to remove yourself. However, if the group has any members other than the group owner it cannot be deleted.
How do I remove another user from my group?
If you are the owner of a group, click the "Edit Members" link under the "Tools" tab on your Group Home page. From here you may remove any user from your group.
How do I lock my group so no others can join?
If you are the owner of a group, click the "Edit Settings" link from your Group Home page. The "Edit Settings" page allows you to lock a group so no other users can join.
How do I join a group?
You may join a group several different ways:
  1. If another group member has sent you an email invitation, you can click the join link within the email. This link will automatically load the Join Group page with the pertinent group information. All you have to do is enter the password which should be contained in the email. If it’s a public group, no password is required.
  2. If another group member has invited you by word of mouth, IM or in any other way, you can easily find the group on the Join a Group page within the Group section of the game. Using the Owner search criteria works best. Click the “Join” button and you’ll then be prompted to enter the group password which should have been provided by the other group member. If it’s a public group, no password is required.
  3. If you haven’t been invited to a specific group but would like to join a public group, you may do so by using the Join a Group page within the Group section of the game. Search for a group that interests you; then click the group name to join
How do I find a group to join?
You may search for a groups by clicking the "Join a Group" menu item within the "Group" section of the main nav. Choose your search options and then press the "Search" button.
How do I create a group?
You may create a group by clicking the "Create a Group" menu item within the "Group" section of the main nav. You may be in no more than X groups.
How do I change which group to view?
You can switch which group you are viewing by selecting the group name from the "Group" section of the main nav.
How do I change the password for my group?
If you are the owner of a group, click the "Edit Settings" link from your Group Home page. The "Edit Settings" page allows you to edit your group password.
How do I change the name of my group?
If you are the owner of a group, click the "Edit Settings" link from your Group Home page. The "Edit Settings" page allows you to edit your group name.
How do I change the description for my group?
If you are the owner of a group, click the "Edit Settings" link from your Group Home page. The "Edit Settings" page allows you to edit your group description.
Can I leave a group I have joined?
Yes, you may leave any group you have joined up until the point your entry is scored for that group (ie: race time).
