Miami Outlook:

The Miami Hurricanes have the entire ACC season in front of them. Florida State, North Carolina, and Notre Dame have not played up to expectations. Any Bowl game would be a good season for the Hurricanes. The two biggest games of their season, FSU and UNC are at home.

The strength of the 3-0 start has to have Miami aiming higher. Their focus should be on winning the Coastal. If they can do that, they would likely face a top five Louisville or Clemson in the ACC title game.

Their Sagarin/power/computer/RPI ranking will rise significantly with a strong October. The ‘Canes caught a huge break in the schedule by avoiding the Cardinals and Tigers in the regular season this year. At worst, the ‘Canes should go 3-2 in October. If they do that and win out in November they would finish 10-2 and have an excellent chance to go to the ACC championship game and a Big Six Bowl game.
