Points will be hard to come by against the nation’s second- and third-ranked defenses, and even one costly turnover could swing the game. OSU’s Malik Hooker (five interceptions) or one of his teammates provides that spark, and J.T. Barrett makes some important plays with his feet.
Auburn desperately needs QB Sean White back for this game. Without him, the Tigers may have to rely solely on their rushing attack. The Tide’s defense is not going to allow anywhere near Auburn’s average 297.8 yards on the ground.
Tom Herman’s Cougars have had two phenomenal performances against Top 10 foes but mostly sleepwalked through conference season. Coming off the Louisville euphoria, and now eliminated from AAC title contention, they may mail this one in, too.
