LOS ANGELES – With a tone of honor and appreciation, FOX Sports heads to Citi Field in Queens on Saturday, Sept. 11 (7:30 PM ET on FOX) as the New York Mets host the New York Yankees on the 20th anniversary of the events of 9/11 that rocked our country two decades ago. The FOX MLB lead broadcast duo of Emmy Award-winning announcer Joe Buck and first-ballot Hall of Famer John Smoltz team with Emmy Award-winning reporters Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci to call the game Tom Rinaldi hosts the FOX MLB Pregame show (7:00 PM ET on FOX) live from the stadium, alongside Hall-of-Famer Frank Thomas and World Series Champions Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz at the desk. Rinaldi also recalls All-Star Mike Piazza’s emotional go-ahead eighth-inning home run just 10 days after the attacks and what it meant to New York, the country and baseball. The game and pregame both are available in 4K HDR through the FOX NOW and FOX Sports apps.
