NASCAR on FOX Takes Home Two Trophies

LOS ANGELES – The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presented its 39th Annual Sports Emmy Awards on Tuesday evening in New York City, and FOX Sports took top honors in six different categories. Receiving 31 nominations across FOX Sports’ networks, the dynamic collection of wins included those for NASCAR event coverage, MLB Postseason studio show, on-air personalities, and audio production.
It was a night of repeats and three-peats for FOX Sports. For the second year in a row, MLB on FOX, The Postseason earned the Outstanding Studio Show – Limited Run Sports Emmy. FOX Sports’ Daytona Day Promo earned the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Sports Promotional Announcement for a second time. FOX Sports took home the Outstanding Social TV Experience Sports Emmy for a third year in a row, this time for 100,000 CAMERAS: Ohio State vs. Michigan, which was produced by FOX and NASCAR Productions.
Plus, NASCAR on FOX was honored with the Outstanding Live Event Audio/Sound Sports Emmy – a category FOX Sports has won every year since 2006, and 16 of the last 17 years.
