FOX Sports' Coverage of UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League Group Stage Action Continues Next Tuesday
Los Angeles – The competitive UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League group stages resume this week with another two-dozen games over three days on the FOX Sports family of networks. Coverage also includes FOX Sports’ MULTIMATCH 90, a live whip-around show that brings viewers every goal and big play in near-real time.
Following a last-minute 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich to open its UEFA Champions League group stage campaign, reigning Barclays Premier League champion Manchester City takes on AS Roma on Match Day 2, Tuesday, Sept. 30 on FOX Sports 1 (2:00 PM ET). The action continues on Wednesday, Oct. 1 (2:00 PM ET) with Arsenal facing Turkish side Galatasaray, after the Gunners’ shocking 2-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund on Match Day 1. Powerhouses Chelsea and Liverpool are featured on FOX Sports 2 on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
The UEFA Europa League continues with Match Day 2 group stage play on Thursday, Oct. 2. Doubleheader action on FOX Sports 1 begins when U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard leads Everton in a clash against Russia’s Krasnodar at 11:30 AM ET, followed by Tottenham battling Besiktas at 3:00 PM ET.
