LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports’ award-winning series VOICES, featuring diverse sports stories impacting our communities and culture, returns with an all-new episode, "United by the Beautiful Game," celebrating the FIFA World Cup 2026™ and an unforgettable summer of soccer. The episode premieres Sunday, Aug. 30, at 12:30 PM ET on FOX and FOX One.

Anchored by veteran host Mike Hill, the episode brings together some of the most compelling feature stories from across FOX Sports' FIFA World Cup 2026™ coverage, including the stars who took the world stage to the communities that made the historic tournament their own.

Emmy-Award winner and renowned storyteller Tom Rinaldi traces Argentina superstar Lionel Messi’s remarkable journey from the streets of Rosario, Argentina to his global fame, and also sits down with U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) defender Chris Richards for an intimate conversation about his hometown roots in Alabama, as well as the challenges and family expectations that shaped his path from local youth sports to representing the U.S. at a home World Cup.

Additional features spotlight standout Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha and the continued rise of African nations on the global stage. The episode also revisits the USMNT’s tournament run and the unforgettable moments that captivated fans throughout the summer, culminating with Spain lifting the FIFA World Cup 2026™ trophy.

The episode further captures the passion of fans and communities across America rallying around their home nations throughout the tournament, from Portuguese fans in San Diego to Argentine fans in Miami, Senegalese supporters in Atlanta, Ghanaian fans in Boston and more, a testament to how FIFA World Cup 2026™ brought together many cultures through the beautiful game.

Stories include the Tartan Army's $10,000 donation to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, R.I., reciprocated with a $10,500 gift to a Glasgow children's hospital charity; a Philadelphia food-recovery effort that turned nearly 14,000 unused match-day meals into food for local families; new U.S. Soccer Foundation mini-pitches opening in underserved communities; and efforts in Los Angeles and Vancouver to expand access to the game for local youth.
