Four Conference Champions Punch NCAA Tickets on FOX Sports 1

Updated Dec. 27, 2016 3:06 p.m. ET

New York – Four teams punch their NCAA Tournament tickets on FOX Sports 1, as FOX Sports presents coverage of the BIG EAST and Conference USA men’s and BIG EAST and Big 12 women’s basketball tournaments over nine exciting days from Friday, March 6 to Saturday, March 14. FOX Sports 1, for the second consecutive year, is the exclusive home for the entire BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament from Madison Square Garden in New York City, including on-site studio coverage throughout the event.

The incomparable duo of play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson and analyst Bill Raftery call four BIG EAST Tournament first-round and quarterfinal games before Raftery takes the microphone in Chicago for the Big Ten Tournament. Proving that he is truly “Mr. March,” Raftery calls conference tournament games on three different networks this year, sitting behind the mic for the Big Ten semifinals and final for CBS in addition to his first-round and quarterfinal BIG EAST games on FOX Sports 1 and two quarterfinal games on Big Ten Network.

Former All-American Jim Jackson joins Johnson to call the BIG EAST semifinals and final, while Justin Kutcher and Donny Marshall call a pair of quarterfinals on the afternoon of Thursday, March 12, and Molly McGrath serves as sideline reporter for the entire tournament. The BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament presented by New York Life tips off Wednesday, March 11, with a pair of first-round games (7:00 PM ET and 9:30 PM ET), and concludes Saturday, March 14 with the championship final (8:00 PM ET). Championship game coverage begins with a one-hour edition of the FOX SPORTS 1 COLLEGE HOOPS TIP-OFF pregame show at 7:00 PM ET. Rob Stone hosts studio coverage all week long at Madison Square Garden and is joined by analysts Kevin O’Neill, Donny Marshall and Tarik Turner.

Throughout its coverage of the BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Tournament, FOX Sports has exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the Providence Friars, as head coach Ed Cooley and his squad look to defend their BIG EAST Tournament title. This exclusive content airs before or between games each night for as long as the Friars advance in the bracket.
