Updated Dec. 27, 2016 3:07 p.m. ET

Ratings for FOX Sports’ coverage of the 2015 World Series between the New York Mets and Kansas City Royals, who now boast a two-games-to-none advantage, continued tracking above last year’s as Game 2 Wednesday night posted a 9.3/15 overnight household rating/share from 8:00-11:00 PM ET on FOX, +6% over last year’s Giants-Royals Game 2 (8.8/14), resulting in the best two-game average since 2010.

World Series Game 2 Overnight Highlights:
- FOX’s 9.3/15 in prime time projects to be the network’s best performance for a Wednesday night since March of 2015.
- Game 2 drove FOX to a second straight first-place finish in prime time among the metered markets (preliminary): FOX - 9.3/15; CBS – 5.1/8; NBC – 4.5/7; and ABC – 4.3/7.
- FOX is projected to win the night in prime time among Adults 18-49, also for the second consecutive night.
- Locally, Kansas City posted a 56.6/75, while New York checked in with a 21.3/31.
- Ratings peaked at a 10.8/16 from 9:45-10:00 PM ET just before the Royals took a commanding lead in a game they eventually won 7-1.
- Interestingly, FOX averaged a 9.5/15 from 10:15-10:30 PM ET but jumped to 10.3/17 from 10:30-10:45 which coincided with the conclusion of the GOP Debate on CNBC.

World Season through Game 2
- The World Series on FOX is averaging a 10.0/17 among the metered markets, up +19% over last year’s 8.4/13, and is the best two-game average for the World Series since 2010 (10.2/17).
