Dominant FOX Sports Fall Drives Continued Digital Growth with 543 Million Views in November

LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports’ commitment to deliver in the fall continued in November with another month of double-digit viewership growth. The brand scored 543 million video views (+41% year-over-year) and 2.7 billion minutes of total consumption (+29% YoY) across social and streaming platforms, according to Adobe Analytics and multiple platform analytics.
The brand also had its best month ever on YouTube which contributed 206 million video views (+93% YoY) and 1 billion minutes consumed (+60% YoY).
“In November, FOX Sports yet again delivered can’t-miss events – NFL, Michigan-Ohio State, Wilder-Ortiz – and our innovative digital content plan amplified the conversation around those special moments,” said David Katz, EVP/Head of Digital, FOX Sports. "Yet another record-setting month has provided us strong momentum as we look ahead to Super Bowl LIV in Miami.”
Streaming across FOX O&O and third-party platforms grew +49% year-over-year.
Some specifics driving November growth:
- Season-to-date, FOX Sunday NFL windows have tallied 381,000 AMA, up +60% year-over-year. On social platforms, NFL on FOX tallied 41M cross-platform views, doubling last November.
- College football’s greatest rivalry, Michigan-Ohio State, marked FOX’s most streamed college football game of the season with 134,000 AMA. FOX closed out the 2019 regular season with +21% year-over-year growth in average minute audience.
- Following a strong debut month, WWE on FOX outperformed its inaugural month in social media platform video views by +54%.
