Yogi Roth joined the Big Ten Network in 2024 and serves as a football analyst for the network, appearing on game broadcasts and across studio shows. Roth made his debut on the network as part of 2024 Big Ten Football Media Days in Indianapolis.
Prior to joining BTN, Roth has been a host and college football analyst for ESPN, FOX and the Pac-12 Network. He also served as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight and beach volleyball on TBS. At the Pac-12 Network, Roth produced and narrated the award-winning documentary series, The Drive, and won a Los Angeles Emmy for the feature titled Fight On: A Jackson Family.
Outside of his television career, Roth launched Y-Option: College Football through the lens of the West Coast as part of his new media company and co-authored the New York Times best-seller Win Forever with Pete Carroll, as well as his second book From PA to LA.
Before launching his media career, Roth played football as a walk-on at the University of Pittsburgh, later transitioning to a coaching role at USC after graduating from Pitt. While at USC, Roth earned his master’s degree in communications management.
