Bio

Jamie Howe has served as a reporter for FOX Sports’ coverage of the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series since 2016, the series’ first year with the network, and is also a FOX Sports reporter for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series. Additionally, she has covered pit road for FOX Sports’ coverage of Superbikes on FS1.

Howe embraces the philosophy, “Everyone has a story.”  From drivers to crew chiefs, engineers to mechanics, she gives viewers something to grasp onto and feel like they are invested in the event. Having never raced herself, she uses interviews as a way to enlighten and entertain viewers.

Howe got her start in motorsports television as a runner/gopher for on-site TV crews. Her first job with FOX Sports was with then-SPEED Channel as an intern at 18 years old. She built a Rolodex of contacts and developed a wealth of skills while filling coolers, running errands, taking out the trash and setting up the catering tent.

She quickly developed into a field producer, stage manager, pit producer, show producer and content developer. Since growing into a reporter, host and booth analyst, she has covered nearly every form of motorsports in the United States for FOX Sports, ESPN, ABC, SPEED, CBS Sports, HD Net and Sirius/XM.

Additional motorsports series Howe has covered include: Formula E (part of the booth coverage for the live stream); Star Mazda; Patrón GT3 Challenge by Yokohama; SPEED World Challenge; CASCAR; American Le Mans Series; Toyota Pro Celebrity Race; OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational; Grand-Am; Koni Challenge; 24 Hours of Le Mans (four years of pit lane and three years in the booth); Continental Challenge; and IMSA Weathertech Sports Car Championship. Her MotoAmerica experience spans: Jr. Cup on FS1; Twins Cup (MotoAmerica Live +); Stock 1000 (MotoAmerica Live +); Supersport (MotoAmerica Live +); and King of the Baggers (MotoAmerica Live+).

Born in Nashville, Howe is the older of two children and loves to travel and be outdoors. She currently resides in metro-Atlanta with her husband, Bryan, their two children and two Labrador Retrievers.
