Bio

Amanda Busick is a pit reporter for FOX Sports, covering the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series. She previously reported on the FIA Formula E Championship for FOX Sports. The 2025 season marks her tenth year covering NHRA for the network.

In 2021, Busick joined the four-series SRO America’s GT World Challenge broadcast team as a series presenter and pit lane reporter, concluding her debut season at the Indianapolis 8 Hour Endurance Event. The following year, she expanded her international presence with SRO’s parent series, the Intercontinental GT Challenge, reporting from the prestigious 24 Hours of Spa in Belgium and the Kyalami 9 Hour in South Africa. In 2025, she will continue her global coverage, traveling to Japan for the return of the Suzuka 1000km.

Since 2021, Busick has also served as a pit lane reporter for Ferrari’s North American Challenge series, covering the single-make championship. Beyond race weekends, she is the Host of Ferrari’s annual Concorso Ferrari during Monterey Car Week at Pebble Beach.

Her work in Formula E includes serving as a pit lane reporter for the championship’s 2018 doubleheader season finale in New York City, a broadcast that aired in more than 120 countries, including nationally on FOX and FS1. In 2021, she co-hosted prerace ceremonies alongside IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti and most recently supported the series at the Mexico City E-Prix in early 2022.

Busick made her MotorTrend debut in 2019 as co-host of the 69th Annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance alongside Justin Bell. She later transitioned into reporter duties for MotorTrend and Discovery, covering the 2020 Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale.

Beyond broadcasting, Busick is an experienced live-event host and emcee, leading press and promotional events for clients such as Formula 1, NFL On-Location, HUGO BOSS, Porsche, CrowdStrike, the John Wooden College Basketball Tip-Off, World Wide Technology, Women of FOX Sports, the National Hot Rod Association, and CS Global.

A passionate advocate for women in motorsports and the automotive industry, Busick hosts the Women Shifting Gears Podcast, where she has interviewed more than 50 influential guests, including FOX NASCAR’s Jamie Little, Indy 500 Rookie of the Year Lyn St. James, and NHRA Top Fuel champion Brittany Force.

A native of Greensboro, N.C., Busick earned a degree in Entrepreneurship from North Carolina State University before moving to New York City. She has also lived in Chicago, Boston, and Los Angeles. A proud “Auntie Am” to Madeleine Mac and Beckett Douglas, she credits her relentless drive and determination to her mother, Donna Busick.
