Seth Rollins vows to return at WrestleMania despite knee injury

Seth Rollins suffered a tear to his right MCL weeks ago on Raw that left a WrestleMania 33 showdown with Triple H in doubt, but on Monday night’s episode of Raw, Rollins promised to be back in Orlando whether he’s ready or not.

Rollins sat down for an in-ring interview with Corey Graves, and he awkwardly limped to the ring using a crutch to help himself make it down the ramp. Rollins could barely climb the stairs to the ring, and explained that the tear to his MCL is “more significant” than doctors first expected. When asked by Graves if he’d be ready for the biggest show of the year, Rollins said it isn’t likely.

“Right now, it’s not looking great. It doesn’t look like the doctors are going to clear me in time for WrestleMania.”

Triple H then crashed the interview, and told Rollins that there was no way he would be wrestling in Orlando, calling him a “washed up, beat up superstar who’s worthless.” The Game also warned Rollins that if he made an appearance at WrestleMania 33, it would be the last time he stands in a WWE ring.

Rollins, however, promised that he wouldn’t miss a second consecutive WrestleMania due to injury.

Earlier on Monday, Triple H announced that he’d be appearing at three live events prior to WrestleMania, which will effectively serve as tune-up bouts.
