NXT TakeOver: Toronto: Live Results

WWE’s Florida-based brand will be taking over the Air Canada Centre for NXT TakeOver: Toronto. This is the fourth and final TakeOver event of the year before the live specials kick off during the 2017 Royal Rumble weekend.

Shinsuke Nakamura is defending the NXT Championship for the first time on Saturday night. He won the title from Samoa Joe at TakeOver: Brooklyn II, the Superstar he’ll be facing in Toronto. They had a hard-fought bout the first time around, so what will happen in their rematch?

Mickie James is making her WWE return after six years away from the company. She is vying for Asuka’s NXT Women’s Championship in what will likely be the second-to-last match of the evening. James may not be expected to win, but it will be entertaining to see her back in a WWE ring.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are going for their second attempt at the NXT Tag Team Championship. They went for them at TakeOver: Brooklyn II, but lost when Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder attacked the injured leg of Gargano, making them go down via submission. Will this be the night DIY finally get their hands on the tag belts?

The Authors of Pain and TM-61 will clash in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic finals. Both teams have surged their way through the tournament, but who will win this last match?
