DURHAM, N.C. (AP) No. 19 Duke has lost another women's basketball player to injury for the season.

Coach Joanne P. McCallie said Wednesday that starting guard Haley Gorecki is out with a left hip injury.

Gorecki missed a year and a half with an injury to her other hip, playing only 14 games as a freshman in 2015-16 before sitting out last season while she was hurt. She averaged 17 points and 5.5 rebounds since moving into the starting lineup in December.

Freshman guard Mikayla Boykin tore knee ligaments in December, and Kyra Lambert tore her anterior cruciate ligament in Duke's NCAA Tournament opener last March and then had another surgery earlier this month after she was injured again in practice.
