No. 18 DePaul women win 6th straight 92-62 over Butler (Feb 12, 2017)

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Brooke Schulte scored 23 points with 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals and No. 18 DePaul cruised to its sixth-straight win on Sunday, 92-62 over Butler.

Amarah Coleman added 18 points and Chante Stonewall had a career-high 15 off the bench for the Blue Demons (22-5, 14-1), who have won 16 of their last 17.

Schulte, Jacqui Grant, Coleman and Lauren Prochaska had 3-pointers in a 16-0 run in the first quarter that gave the Blue Demons a 25-14 lead. Tanita Allen had a pair of 3-pointers and Kelly Campbell had one in a 17-2 run in the second quarter and the lead was 47-25 at the break.

DePaul finished 13 of 33 from long range, 22 assists and a 45-35 rebounding advantage as Schulte had her seventh double-double.

Sydney Shelton had seven 3-pointers and 23 points, both career highs, for Butler (5-20, 2-12), which lost 100-69 in the first meeting and has lost nine straight.
