Last season, FGCU set an NCAA record with 55 3-pointers attempted against Mercer on Jan. 17, 2011. The Eagles made 20 3-pointers in an 87-52 win. Coming into the game, the Eagles ranked second in the country behind DePaul with an average of 11 a game.
