SEATTLE (AP) Nneka Ogwumike scored 22 and Candace Parker added 19 to help the Los Angeles Sparks beat the Seattle Storm 77-69 on Saturday and give general manager Penny Toler her first win as a coach.
Ogwumike scored 10 in the final quarter as the Sparks (11-14) moved three games ahead of the Storm (9-18) for the fourth and final Western Conference playoff berth.
Crystal Langhorne scored 21 and Camille Little added 16 to lead Seattle, which has lost five straight and six of seven.

Toler had lost her first two games after she took over July 20 following the dismissal of coach Carol Ross.
The Sparks are 4-0 against Seattle this year and have clinched any potential tiebreaker.
FEVER 75, STARS 68
SAN ANTONIO (AP) – Lynetta Kizer scored 16 points and the Fever dominated the fourth quarter in rallying for a victory over the Stars.
Shavonte Zellous added 14 points and Natasha Howard had 11 for Indiana (12-13), which tied Washington for second place in the Eastern Conference.
Becky Hammon scored 18 points and Danielle Robinson added 15 for San Antonio (12-14), which suffered back-to-back losses after losing at Minnesota on Friday night.
In her first home game since announcing her retirement, Hammon showed flashes of former All-Star form. She drove and double-pumped at her hip, spinning the ball off the glass for a layup that pulled the Stars within 55-52 with 8 minutes remaining. She later drained a 3-pointer and drove in for a layup that pulled San Antonio within 74-68 in the final minute, but it wasn’t enough.
