Brewers place RHP Davies on 10-day disabled list

Milwaukee Brewers right-handed pitcher Zach Davies has been placed on the 10-day disabled list and will miss one start with right rotator cuff inflammation, the team announced Thursday.

Jhoulys Chacin will start in Pittsburgh on Saturday in Davies' absence.

In six starts this season, Davies owns a 2-3 record and 4.24 ERA in 34 innings. He's whiffed 25 hitters and walked 12. Davies lasted 5 2/3 innings in his most recent start April 29 against the Chicago Cubs and allowed two runs on five hits.

The Brewers will make a corresponding roster move Friday.
