Dustin Houle hit a game-tying three-run homer in the ninth inning, but the Texas Rangers scored on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to deal the Milwaukee Brewers a 6-5 loss Thursday.

Brent Suter got the start for the Brewers, allowing seven hits and four earned runs in four innings of work. Suter had allowed a walk and a home run, as well as three strikeouts. Corey Knebel pitched a perfect inning in relief, walking two and fanning one.

Eric Sogard hit a solo home run in the sixth inning, before Jake Hager's sacrifice fly scored Trent Grisham.
