Brewers telecasts dominate summer TV ratings in Milwaukee

Milwaukee Brewers games on FOX Sports Wisconsin are the No.1-rated programming on TV.

Since the start of the 2014 MLB season on March 31, Brewers telecasts on FOX Sports Wisconsin are the highest-rated and most-viewed programming on television in Milwaukee.

Brewers telecasts are averaging a 6.16 household rating and 54,626 viewers in primetime (7-11 p.m.) — +23% higher than the No. 2-ranked WISN ABC (4.87) during the same period.*

The Brewers also have the sixth-highest local TV ratings in all of Major League Baseball — 6.16 (all telecasts, including afternoon games).

The Brewers’ walk-off win against the Reds on July 22 was the highest-rated game on FOX Sports Wisconsin in nearly four seasons with a 9.5 HH rating.

The Brewers-Mets series this past weekend (July 25-27) was the best-rated series on FOX Sports Wisconsin since 2011 — the four games averaged a 7.7 HH rating. And, finally, Friday’s game notched the No. 2 Brewers performance of the season with an 8.6 HH.

FOX Sports Wisconsin covers the entire state of Wisconsin; the Milwaukee DMA accounts for just 42 percent of the total Brewers viewing audience.

The Brewers wrap up their series against the Tampa Bay Rays today — television coverage begins at 10:30 a.m. on FOX Sports Wisconsin (with a primetime replay at 6:30 p.m.).
