Brewers reinstate catcher Pina, option Nottingham

Jacob Nottingham is headed back to Triple-A.

The Brewers reinstated fellow catcher Manny Pina from the 10-day disabled list Tuesday, optioning Nottingham to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Nottingham played sparingly in Pina's absence, splitting time with Jett Bandy in his major-league debut and going hit-less with two walks in three games and five at-bats.

Pina has been on the disabled list since April 16 with a calf strain, and is hitting .219/.324/.344 in 32 at-bats.
