Badgers hockey suffers 5-2 loss at C.C.
Wisconsin’s woes continued on the ice on Friday night, as the Badgers suffered a 5-2 setback at Colorado College, in a game played at Colorado Springs Sports Arena.
Host Colorado College (3-7) jumped out to a 2-0 lead by early in the second period on Friday and remained in control throughout.
Finally, at 3:57 of the second period, Wisconsin got its initial goal, as Morgan Zulinick lit the lamp for the first time this season. That was as close as the Badgers would get, however.
Colorado College promptly scored three unanswered goals, taking a decisive lead.
Wisconsin got a late goal from Jason Ford, a tally that was also his first of the season.
The Badgers, now 0-7 on the season, return to action at 8 p.m. CST on Saturday, when they visit Denver.
