After being cut by Brooklyn, Kilpatrick took a chance and signed a two-way contract with Milwaukee -- meaning he could only participate with the Bucks when he wasn't in the G League (where, by the way Kilpatrick was never sent) for 45 days. But Sunday, the Bucks put Kilpatrick on a full-season deal. With his new contract in hand, Kilpatrick scored seven points in eight minutes on Monday and had a box score plus/minus of +12.
Mike Daniels, Packers defensive tackle (↑ UP)
What, you thought you weren't going to watch the Pro Bowl? Well, now you have a reason. Daniels was tabbed for the game after the Rams' Aaron Donald dropped out due to injury. Yes, the number of Pro Bowl players adds up as others named drop out, but Daniels was a first alternate (he'd be an alternate the past two years as well, but never got the call) and it's hard to say he hasn't been deserving.

We went a little more in-depth on Markus Howard here, but suffice to say scoring 101 points in three games is a good week. Andrew Rowsey cooled off a bit while Howard went off for 52 and 37 points, but when Howard slipped to a normal human-like 12 points in Tuesday's win over Seton Hall, Rowsey poured in 31 on 10-of-18 shooting from the field and 7-for-7 from the line. It marked the third time in his last five games that Rowsey scored 31+ points.

Taking over for Ted Thompson, who many fans couldn't wait to see go, and then pronouncing Green Bay would be more active in the free-agent market? That sound you heard was many Packers fans fainting. Welcome to the honeymoon period, Brian. Now you only have to go out and meet those fans' expectations. Godspeed.
Joel Bolomboy, ex-Bucks forward (↓ DOWN)
In the space of a few hours Sunday, Bolomboy found himself on a two-way contract, then a full NBA contract and, finally, cut and a free agent -- that is, when he clears waivers, as he has to do now that he was on an NBA deal. Ah, all part of the fun of the salary-cap era.
