USC’s Annie Park to compete in LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship

Annie Park has had a historic two years at USC, but can she make her first LPGA cut at the Kraft Nabisco Championship?

Annie Park has had a monster sophomore season at USC so far, but she has yet to experience that same success at the LPGA level.

That could change for the No. 1 ranked college player in the nation when she competes in the LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship in Rancho Mirage, Calif. April 3-6.

One of 10 amateurs invited, Park has some LPGA experience under her belt after competing in the last two U.S. Women’s Opens, although she has yet to make a cut.

This season Park has five top 5 finishes, and last week she finished tied for second at the Bruin Wave Invitational.

Park guided the Trojans to an NCAA title and was named 2013 WGCA and Pac-12 Women’s Golfer of the Year, and has already broken the school record for rounds in the 60s (nine) and stroke average (70.50).
