Titans’ offense goes February cold

The Milwaukee Panthers came to Calihan Hall on Saturday with a 6-8 conference record, yet they were able to do something that Butler, Cleveland State and even Michigan could not. They outplayed the Detroit Titans for an entire game.

“This is a spot we really haven’t been in, in terms of how we finished the game,” said coach Ray McCallum after the 71-60 defeat. “We’ve been a strong second-half team, but in the second half they spread us out, made enough threes and our defense let up, which hadn’t happened this year. It got away from us.
