Los Angeles Angels reliever Keynan Middleton has been place on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to April 29, the team announced Tuesday.

Middleton, who has six saves in 13 games for the Halos, is suffering from elbow inflammation on his right arm.

Middleton is the second Angels pitcher to make the trip to the DL for elbow inflammation after Andrew Heaney started the season in the minors with a similar issue.

The Angels will replace Middleton with right hander Eduard Paredes, who has a 3.00 ERA and struck out five in three appearances for the Halos earlier this season.
