Just when you thought he was out, the Lakers pull him back in.

After spending five weeks on the sideline, Los Angeles guard Steve Nash will return to action tonight vs. the Wizards, according to Yahoo Sports.

The Lakers plan to have Nash, a two-time NBA MVP, back up Kendall Marshall on Friday at Staples Center.

Nash, who has averaged 7.6 points and 4.7 assists in 10 games this season, took part in a full practice Thursday.

This season, Nash has dealt with nerve damage in his back and hamstring and hasn’t played a game since Feb. 11.
